SEN Support Officer

Pay Grade – C3 (£21,867 – £23,206 Term time only plus 5 days)
Contract – Permanent/37 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a SEN Support Officer to join our Inclusion Department. This is a varied role, which primarily involves working closely with the SENCo to support the planning, monitoring, delivery and administration of specialist support to vulnerable students and those with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will also lead the team of Teaching Assistants and be a key point of contact between SENCo and Teaching Assistants.

General Kitchen Assistant

We are looking to appoint a General Kitchen Assistant to assist in the provision of a high quality catering service for a wide variety of events, within a fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to assisting in the preparation and displaying of food and drinks, deliver a positive dining experience, maintain excellent cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining hall and deliver an efficient service for our customers.

This post does require a level of physical effort throughout the day due to lifting and moving of food stock, bending and leaning over the service areas.

We are looking to appoint a Year Leader who will be responsible for overseeing the provision, monitoring and review of effective pastoral support systems aimed at ensuring that students obtain positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing creative and effective strategies to meet the needs of identified students. They will also act as a key link between the school, students and families and SLT/Extended leadership, this will include the organisation and delivery of internal and external key school events.

Other tasks include developing and implementing targeted strategies to secure good progress and the positive welfare of disadvantaged students. This includes monitoring and evaluating the impact of a range of strategies using school data systems.

We are looking to appoint a Pastoral Administrative Assistant to support the Key Stage Leaders in all elements of their administration.

The successful candidate will make communicate with parents and assist the Key Stage Leaders in ensuring parents are fully aware of their child’s progress, both personally and academically and will also work with students to ensure they are fully prepared for their learning, dealing with minor incidents of uniform infringements and supporting the Form Tutors and Key Stage Leaders in their role.
