About our trust

Moorlands Learning Trust (MLT) was formed on July 1st 2017, when Ilkley Grammar School converted its single academy trust to multi-academy trust (MAT) status. The Skipton Academy joined in 2019 as our first partner academy, and during 2023/24 we welcomed Ashlands Primary, Burley Oaks Primary, Eastburn Primary, Menston Primary and Nidderdale High School. Benton Park School joined our Trust on 1st August 2025.
