“Teachers use probing questions and provide opportunities for students to develop answers through extended writing” Ofsted 2018

Learning

Our broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum ensures all students are actively engaged in their own learning pathway.  With a diverse range of traditional academic subjects, vocational courses and personalised programmes students are able to fulfil their potential.

Our relentless drive to provide high quality Teaching and Learning underpins all that we do.  The creation of our ‘Benton Park Learning Model’, a bespoke framework to support the learning of all students has ensured a dynamic and challenging learning environment that motivates all.

Learning beyond the classroom is a critical aspect of our school as it enables students to develop broader persona and social skills alongside academic rigour.  With a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities on offer our aim is to inspire all members of the school community to be involved.
